Be Distinctive. Every Day.
Everywhere.

For over two decades, Kristen has helped brands clarify who they are and translate that clarity into strategy, expression, and systems that endure. Being unapologetically yourself isn’t just your greatest strength; it’s an ownable strategic advantage that drives culture, connection, and enterprise.

Kristen is an award-winning brand and creative director, educator, and advocate working at the intersection of identity, authorship, and long-term brand stewardship.

Her work blends design thinking with global brand strategy, with roots in academic theory, to build brands that don’t just perform in the moment, but demonstrate coherence, ownership, and durability over time.

She pairs big-picture vision with a pragmatic approach, turning bold ideas into actionable innovations that are as ambitious as they are achievable.

Across her career, Kristen has partnered with global organizations including Disney, Sundance, Amazon, Sephora, Target, Newell Brands, Walmart, Yankee Candle, Costco, and Simon & Schuster, helping teams leverage design thinking to drive growth, clarity, and cultural impact.

Kristen is the founder of Rowte, an identity-sourced brand and governance firm for talent.

She developed the Sovereignty Brand System, a structured framework that translates identity-sourced authorship into brand strategy, expression, activation, platform development, and enterprise pathways.

The system translates authored identity into a governed brand operating model—aligning teams and stakeholders. This work equips talent to retain control over their brands, strengthens media and partnership outcomes, and builds durable brand value and cultural impact beyond performance.

Alongside her professional practice, Kristen is deeply committed to education. Her teaching philosophy centers on identity-sourced authorship, guiding students to define, articulate, and own a clear point of view as the foundation for their work.

Grounded in values, beliefs, and lived experience, she emphasize that design and strategy carry ethical and cultural responsibility, and that self-knowledge is the basis for a credible, defensible professional practice.

Across Kristen's work with brands, talent, and students, the through-line is consistent:
Align the Self.
Author the Work.
Assert Sovereignty.
Build Enduring Value in Service of Good.
